The recent COVID 19 pandemic and the ongoing opioid crisis has resulted in unprecedented morbidity and mortality impacting the American public. Most of the population has experienced some degree of hardship as a result of these public health catastrophes. Indigent individuals are amongst the most vulnerable and may find their situation compounded by both medical and financial problems. Unfortunately, government assistance has often been insufficient to meet critical and urgent financial needs. Sedona, Ltd (“Sedona”) is a 501( c )3 private charitable foundation established to provide some financial relief for these individuals. Indigent individuals in the community may gain access to these emergency funds by application through Hospital Case Managers, Local Social Service Agencies (SSA’s) and other Local Charitable Organizations.
